Veterans Organization to Host Upcoming REBOOT Your Life Seminar in Partnership with National Veterans Transition Services, Inc.
KANSAS CITY July 28, 2020. The Center for Military & Veteran Reintegration (CMVR) will be hosting a virtual REBOOT Your Life Seminar on August 4, 2020. The REBOOT program, developed by National Veterans Transition Services, Inc. (NVTSI) is a three-week, cohort-based program intended to build the emotional, psychological, social, and professional skills necessary for successful reintegration into civilian life. Designed for transitioning military and veterans, the workshop’s insightful and personalized approach to reintegration utilizes cognitive restructuring to help veterans redefine their life from the inside out, for a successful transition home.
“The Center is to be a central hub for transitioning service members, veterans and their families, which will successfully prepare them as they transition to civilian life,” said Cathy Loudon, Director of Business Development for CMVR. “REBOOT is a critical part of helping our nation’s veterans make the successful change from service to civilian.”
CMVR has expanded its reach into Kansas City and will soon move to its permanent location in the Michaelson Building at Troost Midtown this fall. During this time of social distancing, CMVR has opted to conduct a virtual REBOOT seminar drawing from veterans around the country. To date, over 3,500 veterans have signed up for REBOOT.
